HOW TO FIT YOUR DANCE SHOES:
1. Undo any zippers, laces and straps to allow your foot to slip easily into your dance shoe. Make sure the protective material that separates your zipper to skin contact is flat (not folded) before moving the zipper up or down.
2. Next, stand up and wiggle your feet to a comfortable position inside the shoes. Your toes should be at the edge or a few millimetres back from the edge. Do up all zippers, laces/straps. Note: Your first time in any new dance shoe can take a few re-adjustments to find the a tightness that gives you the most comfortable support and feel. Note: If your toes are over the edge you need to size up, if your toes have a 1cm or more gap at the front of the shoe, you will need to size down.
3. Your dance shoes should feel snug NOT uncomfortably suffocating. If the back of your heel feels slightly lifted and pressured into the back of your shoe, the zipper is hurting your hand to do up/getting stuck, this can be a sign your dance shoe is too small for you. Even though zippers can be a little tough to do up, it should never require serious pressure creating a sweaty hand.
4. Asses your dance shoes. Your dance heel size is perfect if you feel no discomfort and are able to smoothly slip them on and off. If you have pain when you walk its a sign you need to size up. If your foot is wobbling around inside (doesn't feel supported), its a sign you need to size down.
